What an exciting week for the Robins!
They have had quite an adventure in their first week; meeting new friends, trying new activities and learning new skills.
We have very much enjoyed getting to know the children and have been impressed with how well they have adjusted to being in Robin class.
The children also found out what their new topic is: Knights and Princesses! They are very excited to begin. We will send home details of activities and skills we will cover during topic and also details of a fun way to be involved too.
We will post regularly on the class blog and will also send a weekly newsletter home to keep you updated on what your child is doing and learning in Robin class.
Enjoy the weekend!
The Robin Team
We had such a fab time at Warleigh Lodge Farm today, it was great! We were running up and rolling down hills, feeding the animals, and even went on a tractor ride!
Here are some pictures of our brilliant day!
The children had a great time at forest school. Here are a few pictures from the day.
On Saturday we upgraded our EYFS area and it looks amazing. Thank you so much to everyone who donated and to the people who helped out on the day. The children were delighted when they saw it on Monday and they have been playing in it constantly since. It has had such a positive impact on staff and pupils. It is now such a lovely space for all the children to enjoy learning in.
We had lots of fun on World Book Day! Robin class moved to different classrooms and learned about poems, got involved in role play, book reviews and made a monkey bookmark! What fabulous costumes and mufti clothes, thank you for all your effort! We hope you got chance to visit our book fair. Keep reading books to your children at home, they expand their vocabulary and imagination no end!
Mr Taylor-Weekes, a music specialist, came in and introduced us to boom whackers. We has so much fun. Here are a few pictures…
